Chevrolet Lumina Nascar - Car in Destruction Derby 1

Chevrolet Lumina Nascar. Chevrolet Lumina is a nameplate used in the Chevrolet division of General Motors, which was used from 1989 to 2001. 4-door sedan. A mechanically unrelated minivan was produced under the Sibo Railmina APV nameplate.

The Chevrolet Mina produced on the GM10 platform (later called the GM W platform) replaced both the Chevrolet Celebrity and the Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Smaller than the Chevrolet Astro, Lumina APV replaced the celebrity station wagon. In 1994, the Sibo Railmina was redesigned and the Monte Carlo nameplate was adopted for the two-door coupe.  In 2000, Lumina was replaced by the resurgence of the Chevrolet Impala nameplate and maintained the W platform until 2016.

Both the first and second generation of Sibo Railmina were sourced from the Oshawa Car Assembly in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. From 1998 to 2013, the re-badged variant of Holden Commodore, built by Holden, GM's Australian subsidiary, was sold in the Middle East and South Africa as Siborermina.
